There seems to be issues with the forum, I was responding to a private message, and that message disappeared from my inbox. additionally, I was looking at the new posts, and clicking on them produced an error.

Yep same here. It appears another newer than 1hr is causing 'an unexpected error has occurred'. That and then notifications are being cleared.
Yeah, our servers are out of sync, so depending on which one is delivering you data at any moment, you'll see something different. Working on it.
