Forum speed

Has anyone else noticed a bit of tardiness 'round here the last few days? I've been fine on other sites, but MacRumors has been a bit slow for me. It's probably the work of the Devil.

Was dead slow for me this morning too. I put this down to my rubbish wireless connection, but perhaps not.

Yes, it has been a bit sluggish the last couple of days.

Not as bad this morning as it was yesterday, as far as I can tell, but still not 100%.

Yeah, I'm battling. There aren't even very many people online (643 at last check).

I assumed it was just my connection at work being slow today or something. It's really slow for me - I'm waiting several seconds for images to load and seeing the progress bar in Opera, which I don't normally see.

Perhaps there's a digg somewhere within the innards of MR.I too have noticed a slowdown.

yep. and things have been slow for me too. at first i thought it was my crap connection at work too, but then i noticed that gmail loaded up faster than MR. 😱

and threads certainly have been taking longer to open.

Last night the net as a whole seemed slow for me, but MR was the fastest.

Yeah, it takes about 10 seconds to "post reply" and my internet has been just plain slow for everything lately. Im gonna call em up. I have 6mbps and it feels like I am getting dial up.
