How come the 'forums' tab, and other tabs, have disappeared from the main page (macrumors.com)?

When, as is my usual practice, I went to the main page just now, there were only 4 tabs left - photos, chat, and a couple of others. There were absolutely no links of any sort that would hint to anyone new to macrumors that the forums exist, which is a great shame, I think.

Anyone have any ideas about this?

Look at your address bar. macrumors.com is now redirecting to macrumorslive.com ready for the keynote. When the keynote is over and stories are ready to be posted the MR home page will be back.

Not linking to the forums from the MacRumorsLive page helps keep many of the 100,000+ people who are just going to stop by from wandering in here and bringing the whole thing down. We're going to have a ton of traffic in the forums anyway, so we'd like to keep it running for those people who already know about it.

edesignuk and Wildcowboy,
Thanks for the replies.
