Forums Extremely Slow + Can't Access on Tapatalk

I have been trying since yesterday to access the forums via Tapatalk but I keep getting a "failed to connect, check with admin" message. I have tried on my laptop and it seems to work, albeit really slow.

It was extraordinarily slow - as in, snail pace, excruciatingly slow, with pages taking forever to load - and hanging, forever, suspended, before not quite opening; it seems to have cleared up, for now, though.

Agreed. It is fine now, but couldn't access them at all for a few hours earlier this morning.

I experienced the same delay when browsing MacRumors - seems to have stabilised now though.

It was extraordinarily slow - as in, snail pace, excruciatingly slow, with pages taking forever to load - and hanging, forever, suspended, before not quite opening; it seems to have cleared up, for now, though.

Yes I open 60+ or so tabs in Chrome, I like to use an app to its full capacity and works fluent on my cMP with a 120Mb/s internet connection.

I'm the more lazy guy! ;-)

Indeed, while we're seeing issues with avatars not rendering, its not as bad as this morning when we were unable to interact with the site.

Not all of them, I see some folks, others it seems for me are broken. My own Tar has been broken up until a minute ago.

That's probably due to your browser cache. Right-click > Open Image in New Tab, reload it, and you should see a 404 page.

Seems image links (attachments) are broken too? Using FireFox 39.0.

Avatars showing up as gray on mobile Safari, but the speed is back up. I won't be able to check desktop performance until my MagSafe charger arrives.
