Forwarding on iPhone 3.0 (US)

I thought Apple was finally bringing SMS forwarding to the iPhone with 3.0 but I still can't forward messages. Does anyone know how one can forward a message? Maybe there is a way but I just don't know about it.

push edit in upper right in the conversation. you can then add checks and hit the forward button.
