I can't believe there isn't a thread on this superb game. I just got it a couple of days ago, and I am extremely impressed.

Anyway, does anyone else from MR play? If you do, post some pics of your car.

Here's my currrent favourite: the Led Zeppelin tribute car. The car customization options are almost as much fun as the game itself.

I love this game, I really can't get over how brilliant it is.

This is my Golf. Class S, upgraded as far as it will go and looking perfectly how I want it.

from what i've seen - pretty much anything you can think off , i though have yet to play with that side of the game

Is there an actual art editor in the game? Or are people downloading images from somewhere then slapping them onto their cars?

It's all done in game. You can't pull images from external sources.

I like the led zepplin car I just picked up a pagani zonda I think it is with borat on the side saying very nice ill put up pics in a little bit. It set me back a hefty 500,000 on auction house.

OK. I did a much better Led Zeppelin tribute car. This time it's a British car that looks sort of like a Zeppelin, so it is more appropriate.

This one is done in washed blue heavy metal with a "Burning Hindenburg" design. It features the band's logo, with redesigned (and much better than my first ones) logos for each individual band member as well as the lyrics to "Stairway to Heaven" etched on the roof.

Suggestions for improvements are welcome, although I don't have much space left on the top of the car (about 100 or so vinyls left).

It's nothing. You should check out some of the designs on the official Forza forums. One guy painted a photorealistic Jessica Alba on his car. Someone said that it sold for 10 million credits.

On the other hand, it gets boring fast when you keep racing against people with Anime girls with bare boobs on their cars.

I redid the original Zeppelin car with the improved logos. I will replace the other pics when I get the time.

Only Black Sabbath and Deep Purple to go.

Yeah like letting people import pictures and put them on their cars.

I would tend to think they didn't do that so that people couldn't put porno on their cars but in reality, it hasn't stopped anyone from doing so if they take the time to actually do it in the editor.

But yes, absolutely...they should've put a photo importer in there - would've suited a lot of people a lot better. The editor is great, very feature rich - but incredibly rudimentary and time consuming. Sorry for being lazy but I'd rather just be able to import a picture of something rather than trying to recreate it out of shapes for hours at a time.

For single player, it's not fun at all. Its like real-time strategy more, if you reduce the difficulty, you get less credit but you still completed it (with less time). So noobs can win all races as well with suggest line and low AI difficulty.

For multiplayer, it's even worse. If you find a game, you have to check many things, damage type, car class, ABS, TCS, sometimes you don't mind them, but you would (at least I would) want to have suggest line forced off. When you're in the lobby, you'll see a SMALL box scrolling thought about the details, saying:

Force off TCS
No
...

seems like a pretty cool game.....nothing on Gran Turismo, but i still might get it
