Then again I've been using Lightning to AUX in my car for years now anticipating the inevitable... 😛 I guess most people need an additional one for use in their cars?

So do you thinking getting rid of the headphone outlet was a good idea?
My view is that Apple has pulled a con on us. Everything that you can do on the lightning connector with a head set on the iPhone 7 you could also do on the 6 and 5. What they have given us is a Market for head phone adapters which appears to be quite lucrative.

I don't mind it that much but this move did end up costing me an extra $30. 🙂 Now times that over millions of customers that could be purchasing extra adapters and you got a good amount of extra sales on top 🙂
I don't usually charge the phone and listen to headphones at the same time. My 7 plus battery last pretty good.
But in the end the change is also more profitable for Apple but wouldn't call it a con or scam. Technology advances so we must eventually adapt. The same way we had to give up cassette decks and vcr tapes etc...
Take a joke people! There's a stupid amount of posts and threads with users explaining how they think someone shouldn't own a jet black iPhone 7 if they're going to put it in a case...😵
Are you by chance in the DFW area? I never lose anything until yesterday. I bought a second adapter and before I could get home, I don't know what happened to it.
