found a trojan??

hi

i was looking for some info on macpar deluxe, when i saw this page.. if you download the file, open the package contents and look in the .plist files. you will find some strange strings like; shutda****up, macacces or mozillafirefoxplugin.

im certain it isn't macpar deluxe.. so i'll would almost think it some kind of a trojan, virus or spyware.

am i right?

Well, first of all, there all .exe files, which are for PC. Secondly, why would you download something from a page that looks like that? lol. Just a word of advice, don't download ANYTHING from a website that looks sketchy like that. If you have to, just torrent it.

If you have to, just BUY it. Don't do illegal things or you'll find an actual threat to your system.

They're .exe files. They're meaningless, worthless, and useless.

If you do browse dodgy sites like that and need to download a "KeyGen" - never use it if it asks for your admin password.

Those are probably windows viruses. Key Gen / Cracks are notorious for containing windows viruses/trojans/malware. The short and easy solution is to pay for software through the developers websites.

It is worth mentioning that it is safe practise to not run as an admin and if anything asks for your admin password know what it is.
