I'm hoping zagg or one of the other lifetime warranty companies releases these later. I'm using zagg's glass one now and it doesn't actually bother me. I guess I've gotten used to how it looks already.

Not sure if I should get one now or wait for reviews. If I wait, it could be on back order for a while. If I get it now and don't like it, $25 down the drain. But then again, i do hate the current tempered glass screen protector I'm using on my 6 right now

Well I now have the Verizon tempered glass on my phone and while I absolutely love the feel of it I can't believe there is no cutout for the front facing camera! WTF? I can deal with it not going all the way edge to edge but the camera is just not cool.

It's not like the front camera is that hi res. The glass is so clear I really doubt you or anyone else can notice a difference in picture quality.

hmmm. I hope they have figured this out. Too thick and you won't be able to use most cases. Too thin on the edges and you go to the ER:)

I want to see a review with a case and then I am going to complain when it's backordered:cool:

W/ regards to thickness of the protector and cases that have lips, hopefully it'll be just thick enough to allow the lip of the front of the case to wrap around but keep the case nice and snug. I have an air cushion by Spigen on the way while I wait for Magpul to release their case, and have two of these iloome's on the way. The g/f is getting the Spigen case that is two piece with red on the top of the case and gold on the smaller bottom piece. This one should tell us if the glass is too thick or not.

Quality is top-notch, the cutouts on my 5s protector were perfect, the glass itself is smooth to the touch and screen clarity was not affected at all.

I'm very interested to know how this glass protector plays with a case like the Apple leather case or Otterbox Commuter that have small lips that partiall cover the curvature of the screen. How's the fit/look?

Found this today, after seeing all the junk screen protectors only protecting 3/4 of the screen I was kind of surprised about this announcement.

The iloome screenmate tempered glass will cover the entire screen surface of the iPhone 6/6+. I plan to preorder one with a 10/05/2014 release date.

...I'll be interested to hear your reviews on this!!

Any manufacturer who makes a tempered glass screen shield for the iPhone 6 or 6+, is literally gonna have to make these like a contact lens (as someone else mentioned!) - i.e. to be concave so that the protector can indeed cover the curves of the phones.

Can't see how this can be achieved if I am to be 100% honest.......

I am with you, that is my dilemma. I have nothing on it now since I returned my Zagg. I don't want to invest the money without seeing reviews but also don't want to be backordered.

....I'm just gonna use a cheap tempered glass protector or one of the 3 pack Spigen flimsy protectors I bought the other day until someone reviews a glass protector which works really well.

It may not be the highest res but it's still supposed to be better than on my old phone and it also takes video. This tempered glass protector is pretty thick and kind of distorts things...

Additionally, the protector doesn't even go all the way to the edge of the black part of the screen, leaving a thin line of light on both edges. Depending on what I'm looking at I sometimes get a little bit of a rainbow effect on the edges of pictures and that is just not acceptable. I am going to go back to Verizon and see what if anything they will do for me, I paid almost as much for this screen protector as I did for my phone, I want to be happy with it!

Do you actually see distortion in pictures though? I was worried about this when I started using glass protectors for the 5 but after comparing shots blown up on a monitor there was no difference unless you nitpicked while zoomed in.

I wish I could test it, I don't have a way to take a picture without the covered up front facing camera as I put the tempered glass on by my and my husband's phones and we traded in our old phones. The old iPad wouldn't be a proper comparison because I think this front facing camera is probably better than the regular camera on the version iPad I have!

Rounded or curved?

Trying to determine if edges are curved down or corners are rounded, not specific at site?

I've had this protector with the 5s with which I used an incase bumper case.

I'll let you know how it works with the 6 as soon as I receive it.

Thanks, man. I'm on the fence between the Spigen, Zagg & iLoome products. Both the Apple & Otterbox cases have a fair "lip" over the top of the screen. If the glass film extends too far down the sides, the cases might not fit correctly.

I'm kinda thinking about just not having a screen protector.... Idk. Am I crazy?

My boss has never used a screen protector on his phones and he never gets s scratch...and the screen material on the 6/6+ is said to be the best ever. Crazy? No, but I guess I feel better about things with one on for some reason.

Me either

I'm looking because they're glass, has my interest. I've owned ever model of iPhone and have never used a screen protector, but the case I normally use is the Piel Frama iMagnum that covers the screen. My wife uses a variety of cases, last one was the Mophie, no screen protector. She's keeps it in her pocket or purse. I just switched out her 5s for the 4.7" iPhone 6. There's only the slightest barely discernible scratches on her screen. I'm thinking of going with a wallet case this time and not thrilled about the c.c.'s etc. constantly rubbing on the screen, but like another person said, this is the hardest screen ever.

I'm interested too, I have the Apple leather case and I'm afraid it might not fit with the extra thickness of the glass.

Got an email from iloome saying they're sorry but they're not shipping when expected. Apparently some manufacturing issues. So who knows when I will get them now. :(

They were supposed to ship tomorrow, as of when I ordered them. Now they're saying they hope by Oct 6 or so.
