Ah, it's amusing to see apple fanaticism reach such levels :p

Windows isn't that bad folks!

I know this isn't the same type of pic...but I still like it :)

It's not terrible... but think about all of the people that like Windows and HATE Apple, but what about the other way around, there aren't as many of those.
All of us here need to make up for the 19 to 1 ratio. (Did I get that right?)

i never heard of apple designing a car. there's a difference between analogies like the 1st picture posted in this thead and real products.

if you look around, there are tons of windows/microsoft/bill gates bashing sites.

I do have a few colleagues at work that don't like Apples (heck, my boss put my brand new Powerbook in a metal bin once). But it's mostly because they don't understand them very much, and they're also gamers - and we know that Apples don't fare too well in that arena (no pun intended).

Yeah I think you got the ratio right. I'd like to see the ratio that is specific to home users (as most businesses use PCs). And then a separate statistic divided up by countries. Apples are designed by Americans, for Americans. So it's likely that the ratio would be higher in the USA than in other countries.

I'm not sure your lecturers have anything to do with the hardware used at your school/university (it's probably the IT department that does that!), so would most likely not be interested in talking to me. Unless I started enthusiastically talking to them about <enter your course subject here>.
