I know that the forums are designed censor four-letter words by substituting asterisks for letters in the "naughty" words.

However, when viewing posts in the "Top Rates Comments" mode, four-letter words apparently are shown in the clear. Here's an example from a story on today's front page (see the comment at the bottom of the picture). When I view the comment in the regular mode, the words in that post are properly censored.

This is most likely a bug that the website coders will want to squash.

There are two sides to MacRumors, the XF side where the profanity filter is active and the WordPress side where the news articles and Top Comments are posted, but don't get filtered.

We've seen a report about this article and have alerted the Editor's to deal with the WordPress side.

This should be fixed now...let us know if anybody sees it happening anywhere else.
