No, because forum posters always compare the iTunes price which is set by the studio, to the lowest priced physical copy they can find, which is set by the retailer with the most excess stock or the least interest in profit.

See the above Fight Club example, where the DVD priced is claimed to be $4.75 because that's the Amazon price, but the list price is actually $19.98.

Yep, Australia is Noah. Also our pricing is much lower...app has X-Men First Class (expired deal) and Noah both listed as $3.99 AU. At current exchange rates thats about $3US. Ended up grabbing Noah since i think thats a good price and if it's not a short term oversight, I'd like to support those prices in Australia.

For US I think that is a Paramount release. interesting.
 
Please keep posting the movies on sale in this thread. I keep getting a "Unable to Download App" for this app only. No idea what the heck is going on.

Update: Ah just found out that my company's firewall blocks certain apps. Can't download this Fox app but Youtube works.

They have YouTube open but block an app that doesn't play video??? Huh???
 
The Sound of Music for US users.

Disney offering deals like this would be so awesome but their catalog isn't as extensive. Heck, even if they had weekend deals for one movie.
