FPS Mouse settings for competitive play

Any recommendations besides USB Overdrive? Any guides on how you setup your mouse? I'm using an old Razer Diamondback which is a flawless piece of hardware. Now, I just need to sort out the software end for Mac OS X.

USB Overdrive was my solution for my Logitech G500. It's lame that these companies aren't including mac drivers.

Or the ones that are including them don't have a reputation for doing a good job of it, like Razer. Has that improved any, by the way?

Isn't Steermouse supposed to be better than USB Overdrive?
