Given he specifically said I had 60 days to change my mind, I would have thought it would be read as "after leaving the store" not "after the 60 day period to buy AppleCare ended".
My point was not that you can buy AppleCare after 60 days. It's that they do indeed tell you you only have 60 days, at least in some cases.
