I have an iPhone 7 plus in jet black. I got it about 2 weeks after the release and around the camera lens edgesI can see it is silver. Anyone elsn have that?

Sounds to me that you have worn the anodized finish off when setting it down. Images?
If it's the anodized finish that's okay. Just wanted to make sure it's not the glass lens chipping away.

I have the Matte Black it's hard for me to tell if the color is around the camera. I see no chipping of the finish.

Okay I guess you are right. Didnt look too closely before.
That is why I always put my phone on a microfiber cloth when putting it on the table. Or I place it with screen down on the table

Agreed. I never set my iPhone down on a hard surface face down or on the back without something soft under it. I also use my iPhone caseless.

I use a Seidio Surface case that adds almost zero size to my phone but great grip. To slippery for me to use naked. The case also just protects this area at the camera.

Yep, if you look really close it is the piece the surrounds the lens, or I guess you would call it the lens frame.
