Frame rate drop on iPad mini 2

Sorry if this has been posted before, guys.
I downgraded iOs 10 from my 'old' iPhone 5C and iOS works much better. However, I kept it in my iPad mini 2. It's actually an improvement aside from a slight frame drop here and there. Anyone else experiencing it? Cheers
