Not sure if it's considered free but a $1 million in watches given to celebrities is definitely more effective than anything else and cost them basically nothing.(yes a million dollars is nothing to Apple) People see their favorite artist or celebrities wearing it and it instantly becomes a "must have". Beats are no where near being the greatest headphones. Yet, they market them so well by giving them to EVERY celebrity that people want them anyway. Apple is pretty much doing the same thing.

Actually, the image is mirrored. This was taken with photobooth with one of those fake backgrounds in way too low of light which is why the parts that are actually him are SUPER noisy and the rest is just a fake backdrop.

Everyone understands this. It doesn't make it any less annoying/infuriating.
It's the "Extra Large" watch face and has been shown before in various videos and photos. I have a similar one that I use currently on my Pebble but also had the Apple logo and battery indicator in the top left hand corner.
it's not free...they have the cost of the watch to consider, and based on the number of pre-orders that far exceeded what they were expecting, I dont think they need the extra advertising.

lots of these celebrities have a good following and fan base. I enjoy some frank ocean for my "vampire r&b" needs and jj abrams for my starwars geek needs.
i wouldn't trash bieber for getting an applewatch before us, just take it for what it is.
