Hi there. After 2 years my Magsafe connector has almost stopped working. This was sudden. I have looked up my problem on the Apple website and on this page they say that I might be eligible for a free replacement charger. This is definitely a design fault, as I have been very careful with the charger. In my case, the white plastic of the cable hasn't completely separated from the cable, but it is breaking, and the cable only works when bent back, presumably so the wire inside connects. If I take this to a Apple Authorised Repair Shop (no geniuses in Portugal), what are the chances they replace this for free?
