Frayed MacBook Pro Adapter

Hello,
My MacBook Pro charger, is fraying between where the wire meets the box. This is the charger for the now old MacBook Pro and I have had it since the middle of february. What should I do? Thx

Take it in to the Apple Store. They will replace it for you even if your MBP isn't on warranty anymore. See: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1977

That happened to mine (I bought my MBP last October and took it in in August). They replaced it with no questions asked.

Sorry to revive a old thread but the same thing has happened to my charger. I have a early 2011 macbook pro with apple care so correct me if I am wrong but I should be able to get the charger replaced for free?

I will book in to take it to a apple store next week. Would I need my apple care details?
