Robert Sean Leonard went to my High School in NJ. He was a few years ahead of me.

And not really a celebrity, but the boy who sang, my little pony, pretty pony, for the commercial went to my elementary and high school.

Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong commercial, but a boy sang the my little pony song???

Ah... Mr. Leonard...always love watching him on House....

Robert Redford

Oh, my gosh! I can't believe I forgot about him! He was married to my dad's cousin until sometime in the 80's (or was it 90's??). Apparently, he helped look for me when I wandered off when I was two during a 4th of July parade. Man... if only I could remember that..... sigh..... :(

A boy sang that song (maybe he was about 8 years old at the time) but I don't know if he was the only one to ever sing for the commercials.

He actually got made fun of for doing it - but it paid for his college education.

I embarrassingly starred in several Chuck E. Cheese commercials back in the 80's.

I was both made fun of and more popular:confused:

certainly not paid enough to cover college. Maybe a semester.

I was in a local commercial for an eyewear store once during the '80's, and I didn't get paid anything for it. I was robbed..... :(

I went to Jr. High with Hobie from Baywatch (the 2nd Hobie) he is also the tool that played on that show Step by Step. His name is Brenden. He's quite the moron and it had nothing to do with fame.
My sister went to a school with Mark Paul Gossler from Saved by the Bell and now playing Dickie on Commander in Chief.

There are a few more, but those are the ones I know off hand.

don't know of any famous people that went to my High School, but I do know that my English teacher went to high school with George Bush (Jr.).

He says Mr. President was a rather arrogant rich kid at the time :p

Michael Dukakis (MA governor and democratic presidential candidate)
Theo Epstein (once and current Red Sox GM)
Robert Kraft (owner of the New England Patriots)
Conan O'Brien (late night host and future host of The Tonight Show)
Mike Wallace (60 Minutes)

Just to name the best ones. :D

A few people have gone to mine..
The one everyone'll recognize is Beyonce Knowles. She attended for a whole semester but everyone still flips out when they get in. (a vocal dept. occurrence) First day of school, you can hear from a few freshmen "OMG! BEYONCE KNOWLES WENT HERE! I'M SOO GONNA BE FAMOUS!!" and then they sing and can't hold a pitch for 3 consecutive beats...

Famous Jazz Guys that attended my school:
Jason Moran
Robert Glasper

Matthew Mullenweg of WordPress/Ping-o-matic fame.
(he also is one of the main reasons fed challenge existed at a fine arts school. Heck yea, economics.)
(also, his mom bought me dinner while I was in SF. MUY YUM.)

err... there's a wikipedia page for us.
I did not know that existed. Heck yea.
it has a list of alumni that are famous, but you've probably never heard of because they're jazz players.

Walter Cronkite went to my middle school, like 90 years before I attended it.
Why yes, I do have a horrible perception of how long time is, why do you ask?

Written for the year 2025:
Famous economist KT went to my High School.
(She likes to post on MR in the third person.)
