anyone know here i can download a free AFP aplication for Leopard. planning to use my mac mini as a shared iphoto library, but dont whant to install Leopard Server. Any tips for me? :)
 
ok. a friend of mine tested without AFP and got erros in iphoto all the time. so he isntalled leopard server. But it should work fine? maybe it works know in 10.5.2..

What errors? What problems are you having? If you don't give us any information we can not help you.

Mac OS X server is hugely overkill for that kind of use, and a rather large waste of money.
 
i havent tested it my self yeath. But are going to try next week. So it would work with just enabling filesharing on the "server"?
 
You need to enable File-Sharing and then Select Options and be sure and select AFP and SMB (Samba - For Windows Sharing) if you want that also. I believe and others can correct me that AFP is selected by default.
