Free alternative to PrintFab?

I print to a canon i250 printer which is hooked up to a Windows XP box.

Because it uses its own special software, as opposed to the windows built in printing status monitor, the pre-exsisting drivers with Mac OS X don't work, but those of printfab do, the problem is, my trial has expired and I'm too cheap to buy it 😛

Does anyone know either a free alternative to Printfab or another way of getting my printer to work?

Yes, but the canon drivers don't work properly :\

I'm not buying it.

I too have a Canon printer and the drivers work fine. A company doesn't offer their drivers for OS X that just don't work...

The drivers work for USB, but no when its shared over the network for some reason.
