    Hey everyone,

I have a copy of retrospect, however I can't get it to work with my external USB 2 HD, it doesn't recognise that it is a drive, I can select it, but not backup.

Soooo I was wondering if there are any other good software programs out there that are free?

    Thanks

Was there any software that came with your USB drive? If you have Leopard, would Time Machine fulfill your needs?

there was software that came with it, but I found it kinda useless

I tried superduper, but for it to work well you need to buy it, I investigated =P

Also I was using timemachine for a couple days, however I don't want it to keep making backups until it runs out of space, I just want something that will update/sync with my HD if that makes sense?
