I got this from another forum:

I retrieved this information from my paypal receipt:

Business Contact Information

Customer Service URL: http://www.v-skins.com
Customer Service Email: domoliver@gmail.com
Customer Service Phone: 586-214-5709

And when i used IE to access the URL, i got:

Reported Attack Page!

This web page at www.v-skins.com has been reported as an attack page and has been blocked based on your security preferences.

When i used Firefox to access it, a spam page came out

Well, it's strange why the seller is using a Gmail account and his URL is not stealthguards.com. Luckily I used PayPal.

Agreed. I'm not so worried of being scammed out of a measly 3 bucks but this company now has my credit card information on file...

I don't mean to be rude, but talk about taking advantage of a nice gesture.

I'd normally jump in with the moral majority :p but I actually think it's kosher in this case since it doesn't say anywhere on there "1 per person". As long as you're paying shipping for each one, I really don't think they care how many you get.

I don't mean to unnecessarily scare anyone by posting this additional information. I just want everyone to be aware that this is a potential scam and there are a few red flags out there. The preponderance of website domains that this person is linked to, others related directly to device cases, and the firefox warning in his "hidden" PayPal domain are reason for concern.

I went ahead and opened a dispute in PayPal, citing Dominick Oliver's potential connection with past scam sites and malware sites. At worst case, I am wrong and it works out fine. At best, I'm getting the news out early and helping others who were scammed or would be scammed.

Well now im scared lol. I don't really care about $3 but now they have my bank account information x__x Would it of been better if I used paypal? Mehhhh I don't like this one bit :(

I'm sure you guys already know this, but similar items can be had on ebay, for about the same cost. from this link, for example. more than 1.6 million feedbacks with a 99.6% seller rating. that's pretty reassuring to me.

I used PayPal and I still don't like the idea, since they have my address and email.

However, if I were you, here is what I would do.

In the meantime, watch your bank account daily and look for any unapproved charges. If something shows up, immediately call your bank to dispute the charge and let them know that someone may have unauthorized access to your account.

If this gets confirmed as a scam, then you will want to notify your bank and get all of your account numbers, credit/debit cards, passwords, etc. replaced.

Oh lord my dad is so going to kill me >.> FML.

has anyone receive their free skin yet? been two days, still no confirmation
