Free Case Program.....still works

I picked up 2 iPhone's last week and asked the Apple sales guy about the case program. He said that everything except the bumper is still available and can be had for free through the case program app. Ordered the cases the same day, hoping to actually receive them. I went ahead and purchased cases anyway as I did not want to chance not having them protected.
November 6th, Customer Care will send you free bumpers still, just call them. They only have the Apple bumpers though, no other case. 
Can confirm. Bought my iPhone 4 last week. Called apple technical suppport in the UK today, and they said they will send me a bumper out. Got a reference for it as well.
All I said was I was left handed and that I was dropping calls, then I said I took it back to the shop and they told me its an issue with the antenna. I told her I wasent very happy and was thinking of taking it back. She said she would send me a case right away and that it would be here next week Happy days, free case worth £25

The guy I spoke with at the phone wasn't even interested in hearing my reasons. I am certain that if you call and say simply "can you send me a free bumper?" they'll just say "yes of course".
Just got an email from Apple that the "Incase Snap" case I ordered through the Free Case program is cancelled due to the item not being in stock.
I ordered the case late Octorer 24th and received a comfirmation about 4~5 days ago with tracking. Then suddenly they're telling me that the item is not in stock and they will have to cancel my order.
I know my order date was passed their deadline for free case program but why give out confirmations and tracking when you can't fullfil them...
Hope the info helps others...
FYI: It might me just the Incase...others might get their orders...

Im actually on hold right now, I called in and told them I was told even though the program has ended, Apple honored it for a friend of mine and they basically said sorry and to goto an Apple store and purchase one on my own dollar. Now I am waiting to speak to a supervisor, I'm a little dissappointed considering I just upgraded all 5 lines on my account to iPHONE 4's and own both a Macbook Pro and a new iMac, upon multiple other Apple devices. You would think they would part ways with a case that costs them next to nothing to produce to keep a long time customer happy.
FOLLOW UP:
After speaking to a supervisor within the iPHONE department, he was amazingly nice and basically was like, I can send you out a black bumper for your iPHONE 4 free of charge and I hope it solves some issues.
He also gave me his number and direct extension to get back to him. What I am kinda wondering about is when I spoke to him, he basically said off the record there will be a revised iPhone 4 release in June-July of 2011. So I am going to wait on upgrading my other 3 lines until June or July to see if a revision is actually released.

i called apple tech support on friday for an iphone i got on nov 1 and just said i had dropped calls. they'd ask me a number of suggestions and if i tried them. i just said yes to all and they agreed to send a black bumper. it shipped out the same day. should arrive over the weekend.
the revised iphone 4 will be iphone 5
That's completely expected. Given the iPhone product cycle the next version is expected in June/July of next year.
