Many of us were happy to learn this week that iPhone users will now be able to use the wi-fi at all AT&T hot spots via our iPhones, but we can't use our Mac computers. The only way to access the free wi-fi with the computer is via their Communications Manager software "Laptop Connect" and there is no Mac version.

Check out my site "WE WANT OUR WI-FI" and email the AT&T president and CEO, Frank de la Vega. I got a phone call back from an assistant within 3 hours of sending the email, but her message was "AT&T doesn't support Macs."

I get free wifi at AT&T hotspots because I use AT&T as my ISP. You can't use your iPhone login info the same way?

Can't use same system

You have a user phone number that is associated with your ISP and a password. We don't have that, and so the only way to log in is with the Laptop Connect software.
