What are the chances of the latter? In 2010, a similar thread was made. One of the replies was something to the effect of, "Fat chance... wait until 2011!".

    What do you think? :D

lmao no chance they will give an ipad lol.. i dont even need that ipod touch thats why im not gonna wait for that deal to come and im gonna buy the imac this saturday.

Besides its not like its FREE, you got to pay for it, then wait to receive the rabate and u lose $20 cuz they dont return you the money u paid for the tax.

It seems like hassle for me but i mean if the deal was going on now or this weekend i would have swung for it but to wait 3 weeks for it and then another month to get the rebate back, besides ill need another $230 bucks on purchase day on the spot to pay for the ipod, u get my point but thats only me.

this saturday is gonna be a good day ;)

Same type of response as last year I see: tickled condescension.

If one buys a $999 laptop, why would they give away a $499 iPad with it? That's half the price of the laptop and over double what they have done in the past. I don't see it happening, I'd be happy to be proven wrong though. I'd pick up a MacBook if they were giving away a free iPad with it.

Since they give you a rebate worth the 8GB iTouch and actually let you upgrade to more expensive iPods it would incredible if they actually did include the iPad.

e.g Pay $499 for iPad, get a $229 rebate from iPod touch value

I'm sure tons of people would jump all over that offer but it's not like they are struggling to move the iPads at all and will probably just stick to clearing out the iPod stocks before the new ones like usual.
