Well ive gotten to the stage of my rebate where i need to tear off all the upc codes from my ipod box and my macbook pro box. I got my Ipod one off just fine, but i tried to get the one from my mbp off and it hasnt gone so far very well as its already ripped a few places. I stopped where i was and put the box on my copier and made a copy that came out just fine. Will apple accept the copy or do they need the actual sticker? I think i can get it off but i have a feeling it will end up in a bunch of pieces and ill have to tape it back together or something.

Any advice?

Generally, no, it has to be the original.

You'd have better luck if you cut the cardboard out with the label, and sent that.

went i sent in the rebate for my printer i'm pretty sure they want the labels cut out with the cardboard too, not just the peeled off stickers. but i may be wrong.

i'll give you some advice aswell, send it recorded delivery. for peace of mind, and for any other problems. i had a big problem but its not really relevant.
