iPad Free iWork on refurb iPads?

If I were to buy a iPad 4 on Apple's refurb store, would I receive the free iWork suite along with it or would I have to buy it separately?

I don't think iPad 4's get free iWork. They should though....

on the apple site it says:

iPhoto, iMovie, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote are free on the App Store for qualifying iOS 7 compatible devices activated on or after September 1

so I would say it should be free. You could call Apple and ask (or chat online)

i think you do. I got a refurb iPhone 5 last week and I got free iWork and iLife.

I purchased an Ipad 4 last week. Before I made the purchase, I chatted with an apple tech online who told me I will have iworks for free. I will need to go to the app store and downloaded it as soon as I receive it.

I'm setting up a refurb iPad 4 for my mother in-law. When I went to setup App Store app, it gave the iWork apps for free.
