Hey, I have been asked by my friend to clean up his iTunes library. He's running XP and I haven't a clue about iTunes tagging software. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm looking for freeware preferably. And he has a LOT of music (~150gb).

There's a free Windows app called The Godfather (maybe also google for TGF) that has a lot of tag manipulation features. For example, you can automatically tag a bunch of files based on file name, or rename based on tags, etc.

If you need more functionality than what iTunes provides, that's probably the app for you.

Found it here-
