Free Photo Shop Type Programs

Hey there all, I'm a total Digital Photo Editing Virgin. I'm looking for the best and easiest to use, free Photo Shop type of program. Any suggestions would be appreciated, cheers, Lee.

For photography, just go ahead and use iPhoto.


For manipulation gimpshop (gimp) or seashore may be good.

I absouloutly love Gimp, despite the face it has a rubbish UI and runs with X11.

I'm after something to chop photos of cars, so gimpshop sounds like the go? Lee.

Completely free with much of the same functionality as PS.
