Free Screen Capture (Video) Tool?

    Looking for a free piece of software that will simply record your screen to video. Anything out there? I downloaded CaptureIt! but it's only a demo so it throws crud all over the captured video until you pay for it. Needs to be compatible with Lion. Thanks!

    QuickTime Player X (coming with Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard) > File > New Screen Recording. Though it is rather CPU intensive compared to ScreenFlow.

    That's fricken sweet! Thanks! I don't really have to worry about the CPU's... I got a Dual 4 core Mac Pro =)

    it is also built in, awesome, great quality and entirely hassle free

    I got Screeny free from the Mac App Store.

    EDIT: It must have been on special offer. It is a paid app (could not tell from looking on the App Store, it just says "Installed").

    Man, I must be doing something wrong with QT's built in video capture. The quality sucks! Not even remotely passable.
