    Hey guys,

I'm running 10.7.2 and my Finder and "about this mac" show different free space left.

Is this happening to other people or is it just me? What should I do? I think day before yesterday, Finder told me I had 70GB left which is I think is the right amount.

    59.47GB free + 32.17GB backups = 91.64GB available

The space taken up by backups is used by the mobile backups (local snapshots) function of time machine, the amount of space taken up by the backups should vary. However the space is still potentially available to use, as OSX should remove the local snapshots if you start running low on space.

For this reason the space taken up by the backups is still potentially available to use along with the free disk space.

Hmm okay makes sense. I was confused because I think before 10.7.2, Finder showed 70GB of space left and I just gained back 20GB of space, which is not a small amount so I thought something got deleted. Well, I get it now anyways.

    Thanks!
