Hi all,

Having just purchased a MacBook I have 10.4 Tiger. Can anyone tell me how the upgrade to Leopard will work when it is released in Spring 2007? Am I entitled to a free upgrade if it is released within a certain time of my MacBook purchase or must I purchased Leopard separately?

Thanks in advance,
Nura

At the very minimum, almost no likelihood for anyone who buys a Mac before the Leopard release date is even announced. So for your specific case, I would really doubt it.

sure. The upgrade is actually indeed free with a shipping and handling fee of $149

That's somewhat understandable if you order it online, since somebody actually goes to your house to give it to you. But if you actually pick it up yourself, they still charge you shipping and handling. How lame is that?

they charge you handling fee then.

I think they should make an anti-piracy thingie which would stop the fans and just start to run the cpu at max capacity until the computer is totally fried...! 🙂 Maybe then people would start paying for their own stuff...

I think it was a joke...

I think that was a joke too 😉

As for the topic, you realised that leopard was coming out when you bought it so you really have no reason to feel hard done by. Another thing is that you don't actually have to upgrade, I'm sure tiger will last you for a long time if you don't feel like upgrading.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, me says 😀

...........as I try to catch my breath while ROTFLMAOAU............

dont get your hopes up 😛
