Free Video Converting Software

Hello all

I am looking for a free video converting program, that will handle things such as avi,divx,mpeg, etc.

If there aren't any free ones, inexpensive ones will have to do

What do you guys (and gals) recommend?

you could recommend HandBrake - one of the most popular apps for video converting ever.
