    Hi!

My app Short Straw has been out there for almost a year. But finally it is now, with version 2.0.0, also released as an iPad application. It is the same download, but the looks are adjusted to the bigger iPad screen.

If you do not already have it downloaded, do so if you need help making decisions like these:

    - Who should mow the lawn?
    - Who get to use the car?
    - Who should pay for the pizza?
    - Who is going to get that last piece of cake?
    - What shall we have for dinner?

Short Straw will help you decide and you will find it here:
    https://itunes.apple.com/app/id867645748?mt=8

The app is for free but has some non-intrusive iAd advertising.

    Thanks for your time! Enjoy!

    / Stefan

This is pretty entertaining. Going to have to introduce this to the roommates, although I may experience some backlash lol

Thanks! I hope you enjoyed the app and maybe also recommended it to some friends.

I am now working on adding some sounds. hopefully that will be out in a week or two. No promises on release dates though.

    Excellent, thank you!

    ----------

As of yesterday I have released version 2.1.0 of Short Straw. As before you can find it here: https://itunes.apple.com/app/id867645748?mt=8

What is new in this version? The main new feature is that you now can select to have sound effects with the draws.

Do not hesitate to test it out, it is still for free.

Some things are easy to forget and at the same time hard to decide. Like, "Who should clean the zink this week?"

With version 2.2.0 of ‪Short Straw‬ you now get help with both things. As before, making selections for both fun and boring things are made fun with this app. Now Short Straw can also remind you to actually make the selection.

Try it out, it is for free.

Summer is here. Now you have all these decisions to make. What flavour should I have on my ice-cream? Should I wear flip-flops or go without shoes? Use Short Straw to decide. https://itunes.apple.com/app/id867645748?mt=8

I fully understand that the Notification request that appears the first time one starts the new version is irritating.
I can however assure you that the only time Notifications are used are when you, yourself add a reminder side the app.

In next version I will try to move this request to when you for the first time set a reminder.

Talking about next version, it will take a while. I need some vacation and I think I also will wait for iOS9 to be released. I will then probably also remove the support for iOS7, so if you still use iOS7 see to it that you download the app before next update.
