It is a wonder that they don't have an Apple store in DC proper. Union Station would be great - right near the Hill - the only thing is that the gov't is very much a PC world - very few macs. Except at the FBI, they love them because of the security....very funny that :D

As far as I know Cox blocks port 25 so that you have to use their SMTP server. Many ISPs due this. The only way around it is to use a SMTP server on a different port.

Thanks, I actually don't use my Cox service yet on my Mac. I keep that mail on my PC. My work email goes through the Mac, and that is where i found out about this issue.

No doubt, I think an apple store in georgetown would be appropiate (ritzy, high traffic, high visibility). Does anyone know of any apple user groups here in DC?
