Exactly as it sounds...

Two monthes ago, it took about 4 min' to load, And now, Im running the software, it looks like nothing happens, and 50 secs from that moment, OSX gave me that "Suddenly Crashed Software" Notification.

Machine: Intel Macbook Pro 2.53 (With Apple Cinema Dsiplay 24), Leopard 10.5.6.

It might help if you posted a Crash Log. Open the Console application in your Utilities folder. Select LOG FILES then ~/Library/Logs then CrashReporter. Copy and paste the Freehand crash report.

I used some version of Freehand maybe 10 years ago. Had a similar issue, which I seem to recall was caused by a corrupted font.
