Do any of you guys have examples of the contracts you use with clients when doing freelance work. I have one but I dont think its detailed enough, and I dont want to leave any important things out.

Go to AIGA.org or nolo.com. I got my boilerplate from the former but the latter reference is a good place to bone up on other ideas you may want to add to your contract.
There is a trend in recent years for clients to either stiff designers or take six months to pay. If I were you, I would stage the site you build on your server and only post to theirs when your charges are paid in full. If the client throws a fit, here an escrow option: http://www.zintro.com/home.
