Freeware for Mac

Any good freeware sites for macs? One thing I need is the Mac equivilent to WINrar? Any ideas?

As for freeware, do a quick forum search, plenty of threads on this topic.

The best places to look first are VersionTracker and MacUpdate. Not all of it is free, but much of it is.

I like the other sites mentioned but for me FREEMACWARE.COM is the best because they only post one new freeware per day and they really take the time to review and post what they believe to be the best.

I visit once a day.
