Freeware web authoring software?

I have recently switched and have used FrontPage 2000 to author and maintain websites. I don't want to sink more money to do this on my Mac. Any good, relatively simple programs for free that work on Mac/

I've never really used it, but I hear good things about Nvu. I personally use Dreamweaver and have since before I switched to the Mac, and I feel that it's worth the money.

NVU, maybe? I've used it a little on Linux and it seemed pretty good.
