freeze frames in final cut

i want to take teh last frame of a clip and make it freeze and play for a couple seconds...

how the heck do i do that??

i cant figure it out and its bothering me...

Find the frame you want to freeze in the viewer then choose 'Modify > Make Freeze Frame'. That gives you a freeze frame clip in the viewer, drag this out and into the browser to store it. You can then drag it into your timeline.

It's a 2 minute clip with (iirc) a 12 second duration, you can change the default in the preferences if desired.

You may also want to apply the "de-interlace" filter on the freeze frame.
