Hi there!
Could anyone please help?
I own a MBP LED SR. Specs are:
2.2Ghz/200GB7200rpmHD/128MB Nvidia 8600M GT/2GB memory/OS 10.5.1
with every software update.
I have installed no additional programs yet.
Problem is, when I listen to iTunes (7.4/5) and turn on the visualizer and open DVD player 5.0 on mute, they will both Freeze with the only recourse being a Hard Restart! I am playing a store bought copy of The Big Lebowski...
Scrolling through the dock also causes the DVD to glitch.
This is what I have done to so far:
Verify and Repair (unnecessary) the disk.
Log in as a different user.
Reset the P RAM.
Remove and Reinsert the RAM.
Erase and Reinstall Leopard from DVD (w/o any updates, same problem).
Play different DVDs.
Tried to decipher the various logs.
Run a few hardware tests (short gives me an error T:GOD, somethin' somethin'.....Extended test never shows an error).
Is this too be expected from a $2400 computer?
Could anyone please help?
