Good evening!
So i recently received a Mac pro 1.1 (completely stock btw) and I decided to download El Capitan on it,since it is the latest version of Mac OS on this device.I used the .dmg file provided by Hrutkay Mods on Youtube. The issue is that after a short while the system just crashes and restarts.Any help would be appreciated.

The official max macOS for a MacPro 1,1 is 10.7.5 (Lion).

Use Mist to download the latest Apple installer of your choice. Set up another drive or partition, and do a clean install using the official installer. We don't know what tweaks are in the DMG that you used. Or if it was prepared for a different Mac model.

You may need to follow Apple's instructions to turn an installer into bootable media. If you're running an unofficial ElCap install, the Lion installer will refuse to open. Apple blocks you from installing earlier versions from within later versions.

If shutdowns persist, we'll want the kernel panic log, or any other messages provided about the cause. But first get a supported installation, to limit the possible variables.
