This was happening to me on my ipad2. Noticed it most when I was typing a reply on forums. I closed all my programs and did a hard reset, havent had any issues yet :fingerscrossed:

So I guess we're stuck till the new OS update(if it ever gets fixed though)

This is driving me CRAZY! My original iPad 64GB Wifi 3G has the latest iOS on it and it crashes on Safari numerous times during each session. It doesn't completely make we want to go back to iOS 4 but come on! The error log is filled up with crash reports (that are sent to Apple).

I feel your frustrations. Safari crashes everyday on my iPad 2. Hope apple gets a fix to us sooner than later!

Damn! I didn't realize it was happening on the iPad 2 as well. I NEVER had this happen on my iPhone 4S. What I've found is that if the iOS device didn't ship with the then latest releases of iOS, it will have issues for a few point releases. When will I learn!:mad::mad:

Ummm... the 4th generation iPod touch is being shipped with iOS 5 and that thing has issues left and right. Apps crashing, constant stuttering and lag from low memory. So yeah, that's not it. These bugs happen. Apple will fix them.
