Friend just got MacBook 2.26 ghz with 2 GB of Ram... Is the trackpad different?

I was just wondering if the trackpad is supposed to be the same as my MBP 13 inch 2010... It acts differently and there are different settings to choose from under system preferences despite us both having 10.6.6 running.

Is it the one with a separate button or the whole thing is a button?
I think they should be the same though.
