Yesterday I had a fun photo shoot with some good friends. I took about 515 photos during the shoot, kept about 50 or so and here are some the better ones... C&C Welcomed 🙂

I used the Canon 30d | 70-200, 50 1.4, 580 Flash, Tripod and remote trigger switch.

Like 'em... full of life... not 'posed'... except the highlights that 'work' in pic 2 are a bit distracting in pc 3...

2nd photo is kind of over exposed.... the rest are nice but turn up a little bit on the saturation and contrast and you got yourself some nice shots. Good eye.

Compositionally they're all solid. The only weird thing I'm picking up on is with the 3rd picture. The girl's face feels too soft. I feel awkward looking at this because my mind wants to focus on her. If you were to extend the depth of field a bit more I think it would work a lot better.

I really like the third picture, I really like the contrasting sharp focus on the ring/hand/flower as opposed to the face. The depth of focus works for me!

It's not overexposed, it's high key. Not (really) the same thing.
