Fring update, seems to be working better

Just downloaded the update this morning and i'm using the Skype Add-on. The first thing I noticed was that my buddy list updates with who is actually logged onto skype much quicker and messages seem to be sending faster as well.

I don't remember if this was asked in the huge Fring thread when it first came out, but is the Skype add-on only available by jailbreaking the iPhone and throwing on Cydia? I can't remember if it is or not..
