What do you mean, it's just a design. It's not written anywhere that they're functional.

The Baby Mac is very cool - notice the keyboard, Apple actually did end up making keyboards that looked very similar to that, many years later.

It was meant to be a joke as in if it was a real baby, sometimes babies poop and have to be changed.
