I decided to clean off my MBP and start over from scratch, not a Time Machine backup. When I did the new install it defaulted to El Capitan. Before I did the restore I have Yosemite, which ran MUCH smoother.

Is there a simple way to go back to Yosemite? I don't mind a complete erase (since that is what I did anyway).

For what it's worth I am on an early 2011 MBP with the 2.3 i5.

Thanks!
